While I had many seemingly disconnected opportunities and experiences throughout my college career, each, in some way or another, led me towards a career in medicine. I believe that the role of a doctor is much more than only treating patients in clinical settings, and have therefore been intentional about pursuing additional avenues within the medical field, such as research, volunteerism, and more.
