I was first introduced to WZBC by my now partner, Emma, who joined the station as a freshman at Boston College. After helping them record a show on one of our first dates, I continued to contribute to their playlists, and slowly began editing their shows with them. The shows that Emma and I record together primarily showcase songs by up-and-coming post-punk bands. Specifically, we try and amplify bands led by women, queer, and BIPOC artists. While the majority of our shows are recorded and submitted remotely, Emma and I try to DJ live shows at Boston College when we can.
